Bone Scan Results

Yesterday was Nicole's bone scan and MRI. They were looking for any evidence of cancer in the bones. Thankfully, the results came back today and everything looked great! That is awesome news!

Other than being tired, Nicole is doing well. On Monday she has labs, an oncology appointment and then her second chemo treatment. Bryan's taking the day off and Linda will be coming up later next week to help with the boys.

That's all for now. I just wanted to share the good news!

Here is picture of Bryan and Griffin from Labor Day weekend:

To my sweet granddaughter & Bryan
What great news to read, that the test were negative. Just what we prayed for. Keep up the good work. Love the picture of Bryan and Griffin, he sure is growing and looks like he bonding with Dad so he can go fishing too. We will keep on praying and know you are winning the great battle.

Hi Nicole,
I'm glad to hear about the bone scan and MRI! Bone scans are one of the tests I do, along with PET scans and if you had a MUGA (heart scan looking for the ejection fraction of the heart - sometimes done before chemo). If you ever have any questions about a Nuclear Medicine test, I'd be happy to answer them. Sometimes just knowing what's going to happen can relieve alot of test anxiety.

I'm sure you are going through many ups and downs that most of us can't even imagine, but please know how much everyone is praying and thinking about you and your family. I know I think about you several times a day and say a prayer each time. I'm not even family - so imagine how many prayers they are saying! Hang tough girl! Remember to take things day by day or minute by minute when needed. Jayme
